AMI is the professional institute for individuals working in asbestos management. It exists to recognise competence in people rather than in companies, and to make that recognition something anybody can check.
Membership is assessed on evidence. It is maintained by continuing professional development recorded each year against a published requirement, and it is open to independent verification by anybody who needs to rely on it.
Grades of membership
Each grade is awarded on assessed evidence of competence. Members at every grade appear on the public register.
